More than 1,000 computer users visit website in first six months

Today marks the six-month anniversary of this website – www.albanycountynursinghomecares.org – and more than 1,000 visitors are sharing in the celebration.

Since the website was first launched on November 1, 2012, by the Albany County Nursing Home Professional Staff Association, 1,004 “unique” or different visitors have logged onto the site for news and information. That information comes via the website’s tracking source, Google Analytics.

Google Analytics also reports the following data for the same six-month period:

• There has been 2,604 total visits to the site over that time
• 5,840 pages have been visited at 2.5 pages per visit
• New visitors continue to visit the site at a rate of 37 percent
• More than 62 percent of visitors are coming back to the site

Like the tag line on the homepage says, the website’s purpose has been to tell the PSA story, serve as an employee resource for news and information, and to recognize the talents and contributions of our dedicated and caring membership. More than 59 news feature 50 stories have been posted to date.
