New Albany County Nursing Home recommended for approval, Health Department meeting Thursday

The New York State Health Department has made a staff recommendation awarding contingent approval for the construction of a new Albany County Nursing Home. The New York State Public Health and Health Planning Council will meet Thursday morning to address the issue and make a formal recommendation. full story

ACNH hosts summer carnival for residents

Albany County Nursing Home residents enjoyed a day-long carnival in August on the main courtyard of the facility. The event was the highlight of the summer for residents. The event emulates a traditional carnival midway with booths offering nearly 20 different games. full story
