Albany County Nursing Home residents enjoyed a day-long carnival in August on the main courtyard of the facility. The event was the highlight of the summer for residents. The event emulates a traditional carnival midway with booths offering nearly 20 different games.  Residents strolled down the midway and played games as varied as ring and bean bag toss, plinko, basketball, horse racing and pie throwing. Many of the games were handmade by staff.
